Design Services
Hardware
CSS can take your design from concept to PCB. Our inhouse capabilities allow us to design and rapidly prototype both SMT and through-hole PCB assemblies. In-house mechanical design services complement our capabilities allowing the design of the entire system to be coordinated with minimum external support.
Software
Our embedded design expertise, coupled with our systems design skills, allows us to deliver products that are “leading edge” as well as solid and robust. Embedded DSP/uC designs including embedded Linux, DSP/BIOS, TI DaVinci DVSDK, as well as nonOS systems are within our portfolio. Additionally, advanced signal processing algorithms, VoIP, radio over IP, and other communications systems are available.
Other design options include:
- Display type: DVI, RGB, LCD, or none
- Mass Storage, SATA, IDE, Compact Flash, SD Card, USB
- Standard SoDIMM sockets included on the modules for RAM
- Processor type: Options include Intel Atom, Intel Dual cores, AMD Geode and many others
- PCI and PCI express can be included to support other card functions
- Up to Gigabit network speeds supported by many modules
- USB, serial, parallel, PS2, GPIO, and most any other I/O type
