CSS continues to invest in its manufacturing facilities. Our manufacturing equipment was originally purchased to allow us to speed the design and prototyping process for our design customers. With recent additions to our manufacturing equipment, CSS is now positioned to fulfill the needs of companies interested in low to medium volume SMT manufacturing.

Our latest piece of equipment is a DEK265GSX stencil printer. This printer has vision systems to align the stencil to the PCB as well as check for correct paste application after the screening process is complete. It is also capable of an automatic cleaning processing utilizing an automatic wiping process along with vacuum. The DEK printer is joined to our Contact Systems 3AVX Pick and Place machine by an automatic conveyor allowing for maximum throughput in the manufacturing process.

Once the PCB comes out of the 3AVX, and hand placed parts are positioned, the board is moved by hand to the reflow oven. CSS took delivery of a brand new Heller 1707 MKIII reflow oven toward the end of 2008. This seven zone reflow oven represents the state of the art in reflow temperature profile control. The MKIII series is the most energy efficient offering from Heller to date. It is capable of both Eutectic and RoHs (lead free) temperature profiles.

CSS is able to serve as a turn key PCB or product manufacturing company. We provide full procurement, testing, assembly, and packaging to our customers.
